We’re looking for a mid-level SQL Programmer who specializes in writing efficient SQL and
optimizing slow queries.
If you enjoy analyzing execution plans, improving joins, and designing smart indexes—and
want to focus purely on SQL development, not server or infrastructure work—this role is
for you.
What You’ll Do
- Write, refactor, and optimize complex SQL queries
- Improve query performance through proper indexing strategies
- Analyze execution plans and query behavior
- Optimize stored procedures, views, and reporting queries
- Support application teams with SQL best practices
- Ensure data accuracy and performance across existing schemas
What We’re Looking For
- Strong SQL development experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server)
- Proven experience with query optimization and indexing
- Solid understanding of joins, subqueries, CTEs, and query execution order
- Experience working with large datasets and production databases
- Ability to diagnose slow queries and propose SQL-level improvements
Nice To Have
- Experience with complex reporting or analytics queries
- Exposure to financial or transactional data
- Experience optimizing legacy SQL code
